Currently, you can buy Hand Operated Lever Hoists LH201-G with capacities of 3/4, 1, 1-1/2, 2, 3, 6, and 9 tons to perform any tasks.
HITCH hoisting equipment can move easily from place to place due to its compact design. Even where space is limited, the equipment is convenient to use.
The HITCH hoists by Series Professional are highly professional pieces of equipment, the service life of which in any situation and under heavy loads exceeds the service life of other equipment with the same functionality. This advantage is provided by the application of carbon coating technology.
This carbon coating is applied to the gears and the braking system components of the Lever Hoists HITCH in an extremely thin layer, thus ensuring the components have higher strength than steel without the coating. At the same time, the coating reduces friction and wear and tear, which is also important for the durability of the equipment. This has a positive effect on productivity, reducing the possibility of scuffing and pitting, and the level of noise of the hoist. Combined, the Hand Operated Lever Hoist HITCH has a low coefficient of friction and high wear resistance, characteristics which are confirmed with the offer of a five year warranty* (optional).
The reactions and materials that reduce the friction of the hoist on the operation and run "dry" are:
MoS2 - Molybdenum Sulphide
PTFE - Polytetrafluoroethylene (Teflon ®)
Friction Coefficient (t):
Steel AISI 52100 (DIN 1.3505) without coating
Coating MoS2 (Molybdenum Sulphide)
®) Coating PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene, Teflon ®)
Coating MoS2, deposited by physical vapor deposition
X – Study is discontinued due to the strong adhesive wear
Each HITCH product is accompanied with a unique serial number and mechanical class marking that allows you to quickly and accurately determine the characteristics and the type of equipment.
To simplify the determination of modes of loading, the manufacturer has developed technology for marking mechanical HITCH classes. Belonging to a specific mechanical class is indicated by different colors. The equipment used in industry to operate in conditions of high and medium loads is colored black, and corresponds to M4-M5 classes. The equipment used in industry to operate in conditions of medium and low loads is painted in green and corresponds to the M2 class.
Class of use of the mechanism is determined by the expected total duration of operation, calculated in hours, as well as the nominal classes, shown in Table 1:
Class of use of mechanisms
|Class of use||Total duration of testing, in hours||Note|
|T4||3 200||Regular usage in light conditions|
|T5||6 300||Regular usage with interruptions|
|T6||12 500||Regular intensive usage|
|T7||25 000||Intensive usage|
Load Mode determines the relative duration of work with the equipment in the conditions of maximum or reduced load. Table 2 shows the nominal loading modes. The nominal value of the load factor for the equipment is also determined in Table 2 (the actual value that is closest to the nominal ratio is significant).
Nominal load distribution coefficients of mechanisms Km
|Loading mode||Nominal load distribution coefficientKm||Note|
|L1-Light||0.125||Equipment is regularly operated under small loads, but rarely under the largest loads|
|L2- Normal||0.25||Equipment is regularly operated under moderate loads, and quite often under the largest loads|
|L3-Heavy||0.50||Equipment is regularly operated under high loads, and often under the largest loads|
|L4-Severe||1.00||Equipment is regularly operated under the largest loads|
By installing the class of use and loading mode, according to Table 3 it is possible to determine the classification of a group of equipment.
Classification group of equipment in general
|Loading mode||Nominal load distribution coefficient Km||Usage class of the mechanism|
The housing of the hoist is made of impact-resistant pressed steel, which guarantees long-lasting reliable operation of the equipment in the most difficult conditions.
The housing of the hoist is protected against corrosion with a wear-resistant layer of powder paint, therefore the equipment is able to operate in harsh weather conditions.
Heat treated bearing plates provide the high rigidity needed to maintain the shape of the housing and the effective operation of equipment, regardless of the load on the hoist. The process of heat treatment also prevents abrasion of material during contact time between the loaded chains and side plates.
HITCH designed the hooks which are made of alloy steel. The specific advantage of this important element of the hoist is that when under excessive load, the hook is not destroyed, and is instead gradually stretched, signaling excessive weight which provides added security during lifting. The operator can therefore promptly react to the situation and prevent an accident.
The use of equipment with a hook which is damaged or has a broken safety latch is prohibited. Therefore HITCH has specifically developed cast steel thick-walled safety latches and fixed them at the base in order to increase safety. The notch on the end of the latch and on the end of the hook is engineered to engage the tip of the hook to protect against lateral impact damage.
Top and bottom hooks are fitted with a wide throat, which makes it easy to fix the load. The hooks can be rotated 360 degrees for quick and easy operation.
Option: The Shipyard hook is designed for use in selected areas of shipbuilding, as well as in sheet forming.
HITCH Professional hoists are equipped with the most safe and durable brake system in the market. The construction of brake complies with the strictest generally accepted standards.
Double pawls divide the load onto opposite sides of ratchet disc. It increases safety of operator and extends life time of the hoist.
Hitchlifting company is certain about the highest quality of brake mechanism construction of HITCH Professional and provides lifetime warranty for it. Please consult «Service» section for the details on lifetime warranty.
HITCH brake discs of HITCH Professional are less breakable. If brake discs on HITCH Professional hoist are worn out within three years after purchase, we replace them for free.
The chain, galvanized, calibrated and tested in the USA by Hitchlifting Inc., meets the requirements of class G80 chain strength and provides safety and a long service life of the hoist. A galvanized load chain has several advantages:
- corrosion resistance for aggressive operating environments
- the service life is much higher than a normal chain G80
- greater purity of the chain and all the hoist mechanisms
This model is characterized by the letter «G» which refers to Galvanic in HITCH’s model series.
The standard mechanism of "free-wheel mode" chain is suitable for the rapid attachment of the load and the chain runs through the hoist in both directions.
Strong guide rollers are used to prevent breakdown and seizing of the chain on the lift wheel. Shroud acts as a chain guide and protects from debris and precipitation.
The chain brake is designed in such a way that excludes the possibility of it becoming stuck in the lift wheel, which could lead to failure of the hoist. It is made from durable forged alloy steel.
This part is made of hardened steel of high-class durability and reliability for industrial use.
A full handle rotation of 360 degrees allows the operator to use the most convenient grip of the hoist for maximum range of motion and, as a consequence, increase the efficiency of working with the hoist. The short lever has ribs attached to the rubber handle which provides a comfortable grip under any climatic conditions.
Thanks to its improved drive, HITCH’s short handle, compact housing, double reduction gear reducer and ergonomic design mean that it requires a minimum of effort when working with the hoist.
Our equipment is completed with the use of nuts with nylon inserts that prevent spontaneous loosening and allow mechanics to quickly dismantle it for inspection and simple repairs.
