The HITCH hoists by Series Professional are highly professional pieces of equipment, the service life of which in any situation and under heavy loads exceeds the service life of other equipment with the same functionality. This advantage is provided by the application of carbon coating technology.
This carbon coating is applied to the gears and the braking system components of the Chain Hoists HITCH in an extremely thin layer, thus ensuring the components have higher strength than steel without the coating. At the same time, the coating reduces friction and wear and tear, which is also important for the durability of the equipment. This has a positive effect on productivity, reducing the possibility of scuffing and pitting, and the level of noise of the hoist. Combined, the Hand Chain Hoist HITCH has a low coefficient of friction and high wear resistance, characteristics which are confirmed with the offer of a five year warranty* (optional).

Each HITCH product is accompanied with a unique serial number and mechanical class marking that allows you to quickly and accurately determine the characteristics and the type of equipment.
To simplify the determination of modes of loading, the manufacturer has developed technology for marking mechanical HITCH classes. Belonging to a specific mechanical class is indicated by different colors. The equipment used in industry to operate in conditions of high and medium loads is colored black, and corresponds to M4-M5 classes. The equipment used in industry to operate in conditions of medium and low loads is painted in green and corresponds to the M2 class.
Class of use of the mechanism is determined by the expected total duration of operation, calculated in hours, as well as the nominal classes, shown in Table 1:

Load Mode determines the relative duration of work with the equipment in the conditions of maximum or reduced load. Table 2 shows the nominal loading modes.
The nominal value of the load factor for the equipment is also determined in Table 2 (the actual value that is closest to the nominal ratio is significant).

The housing of the hoist is made of impact-resistant pressed steel, which guarantees long-lasting reliable operation of the equipment in the most difficult conditions. The housing of the hoist is protected against corrosion with a wear-resistant layer of powder paint, therefore the equipment is able to operate in harsh weather conditions.
Heat treated bearing plates provide the high rigidity needed to maintain the shape of the housing and the effective operation of equipment, regardless of the load on the hoist. The process of heat treatment also prevents abrasion of material during contact time between the loaded chains and side plates.
HITCH designed the hooks which are made of alloy steel. The specific advantage of this important element of the hoist is that when under excessive load, the hook is not destroyed, and is instead gradually stretched, signaling excessive weight which provides added security during lifting. The operator can therefore promptly react to the situation and prevent an accident.
The use of equipment with a hook which is damaged or has a broken safety latch is prohibited. Therefore HITCH has specifically developed cast steel thick-walled safety latches and fixed them at the base in order to increase safety. The notch on the end of the latch and on the end of the hook is engineered to engage the tip of the hook to protect against lateral impact damage.
Top and bottom hooks are fitted with a wide throat, which makes it easy to fix the load. The hooks can be rotated 360 degrees for quick and easy operation.
HITCH Professional hoists are equipped with the most safe and durable brake system in the market. The construction of brake complies with the strictest generally accepted standards.
Double pawls divide the load onto opposite sides of ratchet disc. It increases safety of operator and extends life time of the hoist.

HITCH brake discs of HITCH Professional are less breakable. If brake discs on HITCH Professional hoist are worn out within three years after purchase, we replace them for free.
The chain, calibrated and tested in the USA by Hitchlifting Inc., meets the requirements of class G80 chain strength and provides safety and a long service life of the hoist.
Strong guide rollers are used to prevent breakdown and seizing of the chain on the lift wheel.
This part is made of hardened steel of high-class durability and reliability for industrial use.

The hand drive chain is galvanized and meets standards of safety in the United States. The high-precision machining of the hand wheel pockets receiving the hand chain of the hoist provides continuous operation of the hoist without noise, jamming or slippage.
